Esther Farinde wins Time2Shine live final

Mon 27 Oct 2014
By Sarah McAllister

The winner of Europe’s biggest gospel talent search was announced on Saturday 25th October.

Esther Farinde was presented with a £100,000 recording contract and signed to Time2Shine’s joint music label with Black Grape Global.

Esther took to the stage to sing four mind-blowing songs, the third of which was ‘Love You Anyway’ a duet with one of the silkiest voices in UK gospel music, Ricardo Roccstar Williams.

Esther was a clear fans' favourite and, having acquired the most votes, was presented with a cheque of £10,000 and a recording contract worth £100,000.

The star-studded event surprised us with Eastender's star Rudolph Walker as a judge alongside Guvna B, Angel Taylor and Time2Shine's Mercy B. Rachel Kerr and Philippa Hanna also made appearances.

Check out this video of Esther Farinde’s first audition.
