Sugababes Keisha Talks About Being A Christian
The Sugababes are a band many of us knew throughout the 00's and beyond. They're a staple in British girl-band history and have undoubtedly inspired many young girls to follow in their footsteps of song and sass combined
Keisha Buchanan, one of the founding members of the band, had her ups and downs whilst being a member of the Sugababes, controversially being removed and replaced in 2009 and returning again years later, then reforming the original band in 2019.
They planned to go on tour this year to mark 20 years since their first album but have had to put their plans on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.
One thing people may not have known about Keisha is that she is, and always has been, a Christian. Giving her life t Jesus aged 14, she went through her career trusting and believing in God through the tough times.
Here, she talks to Premier Gospel's Cassandra about the conflicts of being in a girl band and being a Christian, the judgement she receives now and how Premier Gospel helped her get through some tough times.
